Born in Bartlesville Oklahoma, she was raised there. In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman. Confessions is one of many popular sections on her site. The site was highly praised by prominent publications for its style of writing, thoughts as well as high-quality photos. The blog also features stunning food photos on her blog. She started her TV show The Pioneer Woman in 2011 and it is still in the evenings on The Food Network. The book, mostly full of recipes for cooking and cooking, include her own TV show. Columbia Pictures announced recently that the film version of her book, From Black Heels To Tractor Wheels The film will release.
